Not only is he the best gastroenterologist, his office staff iare wonderful . Last July when I knew my gallbladder taken out though he was off he came in to do my surgery that's an awesome doctor he is wonderful kind thorough couldn't ask for better gas or knowledge yesterday.

I've been doctor-shy since 2020 and have been slow to trust physicians again, but after many prods by loved ones I decided to get my annuals - and am glad I did. Dr. Patel is amazing. Very knowledgeable and surprisingly very thorough. And his bedside manner is outstanding.

It was a good experience. In and out quickly.

I had a colonoscopy scheduled with Dr. Patel J last Friday, which turned out to be a nightmare. First, the prep paperwork said they would call me the day before the procedure to give me the time, which never happened. Still, I called Dr. Patel's office around 4:15 PM the day before the procedure to find out the time, and no one answered. I left a detailed message, yet no one returned my call. I proceeded with the prep that day as the instructions said. After that, on the day of the procedure (Friday, Oct 31), I called the office where the procedure was supposed to take place and spoke with the nurse, who told me that I was not on the schedule, and that someone from Dr. Patel's office would call me to let me know what was happening, which did not happen until I called after 8:30 AM, when they told me that my insurance was not accepted at the facility where I was scheduled, which I was never notified about. In addition to that, Dr. Patel's office sent me to HCA Trinity Hospital, claiming that they had managed a I had a colonoscopy scheduled with Dr. Patel J last Friday, which turned out to be a nightmare. When I called the office and let them know how frustrated I was about everything, I was transferred to talk to the "Administrator," who didn’t help at all, and suddenly the call ended. I'm not sure if she hung up on me or the call dropped. To end the story, I was told they can schedule for Nov. 4 (and I will have to have another prep within 3 days from the previous prep? Is that even healthy?). Come on, I just went to their office and, even worse, I found a note that they had moved on Oct. 28, which I was not notified about either. So, I went to the new address and requested my records. I will never, ever go to that facility. It is so sad that such a good doctor has such poor administrative personnel that apparently does not care about his patients.

All staff members are very kind and professional with their patient care needs. Number one priority is you amd they show that they care and you matter. Overall a cut above excellent!

Doctor talk with me at my post op procedure appointment , he did do quick review the day of the procedure to explain what he had done. But at the follow up he gave more detailed information.

I filled out a survey yesterday. But this morning talking to the nurse was not very good.

Doctor Patel patiently spent time with me and laid out a plan for testing and treatment for immediate problems. I was very impressed with the doctor and his staff and highly recommend him.

While I appreciated speaking to Dr. Patel, the office was cramped & crowded. I waited for quite a while as there were so many patients ro be seen which put me into rush hour traffic.

Unfortunately, my 3rd procedure to have a successful gallbladder removal did not leave me with a positive experience. It is quite possible that the antibiotic (Ciprofloxacin) given during a procedure to my 1 in 14 chance of having gallstones after having my gallbladder removed, not performed by Dr. Patel, has left me with a possible long term after effect of very painful tendonitis in my knee and hip. I have incurred additional expenses to visit my PCP, as well as other specialists, MRI too, suggested physical therapy but I've had enough. But you know unless you bring your Lawyer with you to any of these procedures you have no chance to pursue restitution. They all know, we know, we really don't have a choice but to sign the authorization forms as we lie on a table with the anesthesiologist looking down at us and saying, see you in a few.

No one ever likes a colonoscopy, but Dr. Patel and his staff made the experience straightforward and as easy as it could be. The location of the outpatient surgery center was very close to my home. Dr Patel is very personable and explained everything in detail to me in my post procedure appointment. I have no hesitation to continue my medical care with him.

This was my first appointment with Dr Patel and EVERYTHING from making the appointment, checking in, seeing the Doctor and checking out were the best I have had in many years. Staff was AWESOME & Doctor Patel was knowledgeable & talked so you could easily understand what he was saying. The whole entire experience was impressive.

He's so professional !!!

I have been having trouble getting this one medicine because the co pay is so high,Kellie and Lucy in the office gave me two months worth until they can figure out how to keep me on this medicine. They are working hard and I sure do appreciate it.

I waited approximately 1/2 hour past my appointment time, before I was escorted into another room, asked some questions and then only had a very short wait until Mrs Kelly came to see me. We spoke about the results of the test and she was very informative and knowledgeable about my results. Kelle will continue to work with you until she finds a solution to your illness. I have Ulcerative Colitis and we are working on a third prescription hoping to get this illness into remission. Kelly is a very caring, friendly and knowledgeable ARNP. She so patient and doesn't make you feel like you're just a number. She really tries to resolve whatever the problem is! Dr. Patel is great too, but he watches the clock so he can get to the next patient! Kelly is much more attentive. Dr. Patel is also very caring and way more knowledgeable than other GI's in the area. He stays updated with medications and new treatments for his patients! And of course I can't leave the front office staff who do a remarkable job with scheduling, answering questions and explaining any procedures ordered . And Lucy is beyond words! She is a gem and there aren't enough descriptive words to show anyone how awesome she is. She's a multi-tasking and amazing person! Everyone there makes that practice as successful as it is!

Dr J Patel was very caring, thorough and kind. He followed my father’s condition while in the hospital and even after to assure that he received the best possible care. We were very happy to have Dr Patel to help us through our difficult time.

My experience was 3 stars as I had an appointment for 330 and wasn’t seen till 430. When I arrived, the lobby was full and I asked the lady at the desk if they were backed up and running behind and her response was no. Well that was a lie. People had waiting longer than me. Would rather see a dr turn people away because they are seeing patients than try to cram as many as they can in a day. My appointment lasted 10 min and was rushed. I was also asked by the tech to put my feet flat in the ground so they could take my BP with a manual blood pressure cuff. Well that doesn’t make a difference (I have 25 years experience) and she said I had an odd number for my BP (manual cuffs don’t read odd numbers). So think the techs need to be re-trained.

Meeting with Dr. Patel was excellent. The practice was having a rough time this visit. Was kept waiting 70 minutes past apt time. This, however, has not been my, or my husband’s typical experience.

Going to the G.I. is not usually something people look forward to, but having such a great doctor and office staff makes it more tolerable.

Dr Patel is an excellent physician but sometime it seems he has too many patients in one day . When the first statement of an office visit is "what are we talking about today ?" it implies not enough time to review a patients situation before the office visit I showed up on time and was promptly brought to meet with doctor on time and was out of the office less than a half hour later . This was great for my busy schedule

Very thorough and makes sure your medical information is accurate. Took their time with the consultation to make sure I had no questions. She explained the procedure and the results from the previous procedure. I highly recommend this establishment.

My appt was for test results of a virtual colonoscopy since Dr Patel was unable to perform the normal one. He had very worrisome results and recommended I see a colo-rectal surgeon for what he felt was necessary surgery (surgeries). I thank him immensely for following up with the colonography but he seemed in a hurry after dropping the bombshells. It would have been more calming to discuss the findings and possible surgeries more in depth but perhaps he believes that will be done by the surgeon. Dr Patel and ALL of his staff are very personable and professional!
